Welcome to Edition 13 of the Carnival of Miracles. This edition is a little thinly spread, and that is because quite a few posts that were submitted didn’t make the cut. To set the record straight, this carnival is a carnival that focuses on real-life miracles, positive attitude, extreme happiness…in short anything that uplifts the human experience. Having said that, looking forward to a better participation next time.

We start off this carnival with a beautiful and timely post from Mina Irfan in Why Hitting Rock Bottom is the Best Thing That Happened To Me. Thanks Mina, I am sure that post will have a lot of followers everywhere.

Glowing Face Man shares the cheat code to life (to all the truly logical people out there) in the stirring Positive Affirmations. As a fellow fan of Louise L. Hay’s You Can Heal Your Life, this post is truly special.

Finally The Digerati Life reminds us to count our blessings in Would You Take this Job? The Toughest Jobs in America.

Thanks folks, for your lovely posts. To be  a part of the next edition of the Carnival of Miracles please click here before 15 June.

Welcome to the 13th Edition of the Carnival of Miracles. Without much ado let us get into what’s on the spread. Ralph Jean-Paul shares some useful tips about how to Perform under Pressure. Especially with so much pressure around many of us, these tips could provide just the right dose of magic. Stephen Martile shares a wonderful and invaluable story in It’s lonely at the top. Thanks Stephen, I will remember that.

Did you know, a long distance motorcycle journey can  be a truly spiritual experience! Sean Reynolds writes about it  in this truly delightful European Motorcyle Trip. Hey Sean, you’ve got me hooked, I want to try it sometime.  Elizabeth Hargrave takes a leaf out of nature in this beautifully written Look for: Tulip Tree flowers. Sometimes the magic is right in front of us. Colin Timberlake shares a very inspirational story of Ice hockey player Clint Malarchuk in Today’s Training Inspiration: Clint Malarchuk. Absolutely miraculous!

And finally, Carole Gold talks about a miraculous healing experience in Miracle Healing. As they say, there is great magic all around. We only have to open our eyes to it.  A big thanks to all the contributors who have added their own magic to this edition of the Carnival of Miracles. May the blessings be with you.

The carnival of miracles (Edition 11)

June 24, 2007 - 2 Responses

Greetings and welcome to the 11th edition of the Carnival of Miracles. This edition should have come a week ago, but nevertheless here it is. My apologies for the delay. We kick start this carnival with Riversider’s touching posting Ribble Spring Clean. The introduction goes – When people get together, they can move mountains, or in this case, rusty bicycle frames…

Alex Blackwell writes about ways to enrich our lives in this neat little posting – Savor every moment. When Raymond David Salas talks he does it with a powerful vibrancy all his own. This posting is no different, here he talks about a powerful way of living in How to Make Your Life Easier.

Today’s utterly special blog is a very touching true-life incident shared by Daniel Brenton in Iam grateful Iam still alive. Thank you so much Daniel, for sharing this very sad story. I have often wondered, how it must feel…now I know. Thanks for letting this story free.

Uni talks about the spirituality that binds our human existence in the beautifully written The Trinity of Body Mind Soul. Conan Stevens shares his childhood story in the highly inspiring Unpopular Geeky kid at school to Movie Star – Build Self Confidence. Edithyeung shares lessons at 30 in When you turn 30…

Fitbuff talks about a very powerful moment when he experienced mind over matter in How I lifted 50 pounds with my Mind. John Wesley writes that creativity does not just burst from nothing but usually has it’s origins somewhere – hmmm… debatable but definitely interesting in The Secret to Creativity.

Thank you all for participating. To be a part of the next edition of the Carnival of Miracles click here.

So what’s special in this 10th Carnival edition, you may ask me. Well, starting from this edition, Iam starting a section which is titled One utterly special blog in this carnival. It’s tough to create this category when there are so many superb submissions. But I think, it will be truly interesting to see that er truly special post among all the other special postings.

Featured in today’s utterly special blog in this carnival is Meredith Mathews with her blog My Lemonade Stand (When Life gives you lemons, stick ‘em in your bra. Couldn’t hurt. Might help.) Her posting Moving is symbolic is very touching and a great read.

After losing a loved one, if you would write down, what would be the top 5 things that would motivate you to live an enriching life? Anna Farmery writes down her list in Top 5 Reasons I want to Live. God bless you, Anna!

Cade Krueger writes about meeting a unique human and the inspiring lessons he learnt from his life in Visions of Excitement. Debra Moorhead writes about What Gardening Has Taught Me About Life. Very interesting parallels! Ellesse writes about the inspirational story of Wilma Rudolph who overcame Polio to become an athletic gold winner in the Olympics in Wilma Rudolph, An Olympic Wonder.

Best of Carnival of Miracles (Editions 1 to 9)

May 26, 2007 - 3 Responses

Welcome to the Best of Carnival of Miracles (Editions 1 to 9). Here you will find a celebration of some of the most significant posts that you will find in the blogosphere. It was quite challenging going through 61 great posts in all and then zeroing down on the blogs that had that ’special’ edge.

My earlier avtar as an editor of an educational web portal held me in good stead. Having started the Carnival of Miracles following a very strong inner urge, I think it is time to add a new dimension to this Carnival. I hope you will love reading this immensely gratifying collection.

  • A Week with Sai Maa – Brandon Peele (Edition 9) A powerful piece about about a very special meeting with a spiritual guide. This is a first-hand account of a spiritual experience and answers very many questions…
  • Do You Have “the Sight?” – Vera Nadine (Edition 9) There are blogs & there are blogs. This, however, is a master piece. If you remotely believe in miracles and magic and angels and in connecting to the universe, then you must read this…
  • My baby is silencing my mind - Anmol Mehta (Edition Eight) This is about an unearthly and delightful bond with a baby. In the spirituality that engulfs a new born, this writer finds solace, strength and connection…
  • A True story – Anthony (Edition 7) Sometimes in a simple everyday moment, magic happens…
  • Spring is here - Ariel Bravy (Edition 7) A picture speaks a thousand words. This photo blog captured the essence of this carnival like never before…
  • How to really manifest your desires - Raymond David Salas (Edition 7) Choosing a post among all the inspiring posts that he has sent was truly difficult, but I think this holds the key to everything we really want…
  • Excess – Craig Harper (Edition 6) Hard hitting and well written, this is about letting go of the excesses so that we can let the sunshine in…
  • Getting away from the other side - J. Bradley (Edition 5) Sometimes the miracle is of getting away! Moving and very well created…
  • Tis better to give than receive - Alvaro Fernandez (Edition 4) What does Dopamin, Oxytocin and giving a gift to your younger brother have in common? A lot really, here is – the magic of gifting…
  • The Cracked Pot – Praveen (Edition 3) In this lovely folktale lies deep truths about human existence…
  • Our Deepest Desires – Joy Soriano (Edition 3) Sometimes you want to say ‘thank you’ to a writer for writing something very special. Well, that’s what I felt when I read this…
  • A sweet delivery – Karen Alonge (Edition 2) Till death do us apart? Not really, in this beautiful posting lies an amazing tale…
  • A childhood tale – Rajesh.P.I (Edition 2) It’s always a little dodgy adding your little post to a category that says ‘BEST…’ Well, this happened to me and probably the very reason why I started the Carnival of Miracles…
  • A boy and his tiger – Bob (Edition 2) In a land that is protected, away from the crowd…thank you Bob, this was a lovely post you know…

Thank you everybody for participating in the Carnival of Miracles. I feel such a better person already.
